Production. The shop floor, on the ledger.

LeoCore+ Production is a dedicated workbench that bolts onto LeoCore ERP. It owns BOMs, routings, work orders, operations tracking, lot traceability, MRP, costing variance, OEE, preventive maintenance, calibration, skills, approvals and SPC — reading items, warehouses and the chart of accounts from LeoCore, and writing finished goods, raw-material consumption and journal entries back to it.

The Production Lifecycle

From recipe to ledger entry.

Six steps take a product from an engineering definition to a posted journal entry — each one linked to the last, each one accounted for.

  1. 01
    BOM

Define the recipe — components, quantities, sub-assemblies.

  2. 02
    Routing

Sequence the operations across work centers and resources.

  3. 03
    Work Order

Release a quantity to the floor with its BOM and routing attached.

  4. 04
    Track Ops

Start, pause and finish operations — hours and quantities captured live.

  5. 05
    Complete

Receive finished goods, consume raw material, close the order.

  6. 06
    Post → GL

WIP clears to finished goods; journals land in LeoCore automatically.

Who Uses It

Four roles in the workbench.

Everyone sees exactly what their job needs — and nothing that gets in the way of it.

Director / Owner

Full access — settings, costs and GL account mappings.

Production Manager

Builds BOMs, routings and work orders; runs queues and approvals.

Operator

Start / Pause / Done on operations; logs progress and attendance.

Quality Inspector

Records QC checks, raises NCRs, runs SPC and AQL plans.

Two Modes

Simple mode. Standard mode.

Same engine, two levels of ceremony. Start light, switch on the regulated depth when the business asks for it.

Simple Mode

For 5–20 staff workshops

Core BOM, routing, work-order and tracking stay live — paperwork-heavy features are hidden until you need them.

Standard Mode

Full control for regulated manufacturing

ECO, MRP, calibration, SPC, skills, approvals, lots & batches and subcontracting all visible.

Plan & Build

From bill of materials to released work order.

Engineer the product, sequence the work, and release it to the floor — with every revision controlled, every component accounted for, and every requirement planned against real sales demand.

A — Bills of Materials

A structured recipe for every finished good, from a single level to deep sub-assemblies.

  • Multi-level explosion & where-used impact
  • Co-products, by-products & scrap
  • Safe versioning with standard-cost snapshots

B — Routings

The sequence of operations a product travels, costed at every station.

  • Operations across work centers & resources
  • Cost per hour and overhead per hour per step
  • Linked to a BOM — work orders inherit it

C — Work Orders

The live instruction to make a quantity — tracked operation by operation.

  • Create, release, cancel & close
  • Planned-vs-completed quantity rules
  • Built-in rework workflow

D — Engineering Change Orders

Controlled revisions to BOMs and routings — never a silent overwrite.

  • Raise an ECO against a BOM or routing
  • Formal multi-step approval workflow
  • Full change history retained

E — Material Kit & Issue

How raw material is reserved and consumed against each work order.

  • Backflush, or explicit lot-picked issue
  • Per-component lot selection
  • Every component line fully accounted

F — MRP & Subcontracting

Plan what to make or buy from real demand, and ship work outside when needed.

  • Net requirements from sales orders
  • Make-vs-buy recommendation
  • Dispatch & receive subcontract orders
Track, Quality & Cost

Every hour, every lot, every dinar accounted.

Track work as it happens, enforce quality at the gate, keep the machines healthy, trace every lot end-to-end, and post an accurate, audited cost straight back to the ledger.

A — Operations Tracking

Live shop-floor time and quantity capture, server-enforced.

  • Start / Pause / Done with progress logs
  • Manual hours override when needed
  • Operator attendance & check-in

B — Queue & Capacity

See what each station is working on and what is coming next.

  • Work-center & resource queues
  • Drag-to-reorder priority
  • Capacity calendar with conflict checks

C — Quality — QC · AQL · SPC

Inspection and statistical control wired into the workflow.

  • QC checks & AQL sample plans
  • Non-conformance reports (NCR)
  • Live SPC control charts

D — Maintenance & Calibration

Keep machines and gauges reliable and audit-ready.

  • Preventive PM schedules → maintenance WOs
  • Gauge calibration with pass / fail
  • Append-only certificate history

E — Lot / Batch / Serial Trace

Complete genealogy from finished good back to raw material.

  • Depth-first FG → component → raw trace
  • Per-lot movement ledger
  • Serial or lot tracking per item

F — Costing, OEE & Reports

Close the loop — post to inventory and see the true cost.

  • Completion & GL posting (WIP → FG)
  • Standard-cost variance & OEE dashboard
  • Eleven production reports
